Abstract

The Annual Ledesma Lecture of Loyola University for 1964. The lecture explores the future of Catholic colleges and universities in the United States, arguing that federal and state funds will be required to ensure their continued existence and noting opposition in some circles to the use of public funds to support sectarian institutions.
