Abstract

Federal District Court decision in the case of Ammoneta Sequoyah, Richard Crowe, Gilliam Jackson, Individually and Representing Other Cherokees similarly situated, and the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, and The United Ketooah Band of Cherokee Indians v. Tennessee Valley Authority. The decision grants TVA's motion to dismiss the plaintiffs' claim and allows the construction of the Tellico Dam to go forward. This case was published in West's Federal Supplement at 480 F.Supp. 608 (1979).
